About the application-reference doc-id xml node

Post by patentmaster » Thu Jun 15, 2017 12:25 am

Hi,

I've noticed that xml files from the ops api contain a node that is similar to the following:
<application-reference doc-id="17397285">.

Can you confirm that this doc-id attribute is unique to this patent application? Will the other family members have the same or different doc-id?

Thanks

Dear user,

Please have a look at the detailed explanation of this element in the DOCDB manual on pages 27 and 72.

http://documents.epo.org/projects/babyl ... 5.7_en.pdf

Please also read chapter 10 about "family-id" on page 114.

Kind regards,

Thank you for your response.

Is it possible to search for this identifier (<application-reference doc-id="17397285">) via CQL in OPS and what would the command be?

Is there a manual for CQL in e.g. pdf?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, if you would have a look at the user manual, you would find all field operators that work in OPS Published service. Those for OPS Register are mentioned in Help files of online version of European Patent Register.

We don't offer possibility to search any other doc-if except family identifier (simple patent family, of course).

Have a look at the user document for details.
