There appears to be some changes in Firefox between 1.0.8 and 1.5.X, hence this additional bit of information after normal setting up with GemSAFE (see previous postings). Please note that this solution requires at least version 1.5.0.2 of Mozilla Firefox.
1. Go to Tools, then Options.
2. Select the Security Tab.
3. check the Ask me every time option under Certificates.
4. Click Ok.
5. When you open the Http://www.epoline.org page and click on Login under Smart Card Access, You are prompted for the master password of the GemSAFE smart card, this is the PIN number.
6. After entry of the PIN number and OK, you get a User Identification request. Here the certificate chosen by default is the non-repudiation certificate , which will not allow access, so choose the other certificate (the digital signature certificate) and click OK.
This will log you into the My.epoline portal.

Oops, I've just read your other posts - Windows dll only, so no Linux support there.

Smartcard problems to Login in Firefox v 2.0.0.6
Hi,
I've tried to follow one of the last postings from Madu when using Firefox 2.0.0.6 browser. Unfortunately I couldn't Login using the Smartcard. No problems with Explorer.
Any new suggestions that could help me?
Thanks,
Victor.

First steps indicated in the above link are no longer available.
Is there a solution?
