Hi,

Are you asking about EP applications and our EP Register or legal event data from worldwide application in INPADOC legal event database? Our answer depends on what you were refering to in your question.

Re: About SPC and Patent expiry date

Hi, Please note that we load data as we get it from respective patent offices and we don't have much influence on how certain events are presented. Also, please be aware that INPADOC legal status database is information only, it is no substitute for official patent register and in order for you to d...

Re: About SPC and Patent expiry date

Hi Please read descriptions of events, you will see that different active ingredients were extended for different amounts of time. This is normal for SPC. We add SPC numbers so that users can go and read in full what exactly was protected under specific SPC request, when and for how long. Also, plea...

Re: CLIENT.InvalidQuery when X-OPS-Range > 2000

This is a slide from my webinar about OPS where you see a list of all limitations on one page (as they are at present) in OPS. We used to link entire document at some point, but it’s a while ago and I see it’s no longer available online. But this is the most informative slide anyway so I am attachin...

Re: CLIENT.InvalidQuery when X-OPS-Range > 2000

Hi As stated in user documentation of OPS, you can only get first 2000 results via OPS. You need to limit your query in such way that you stay under 2000 in order to load all documents from your query. Please remember that OPS is just an Espacenet for machines and not a downloading service. If you n...

Re: No images available for GB patents GB1605471 - GB2000000

Hi, If you look at the coverage table you will see that we only really have comprehensive coverage of KR A documents starting from 2006 onwards. Before that date we only very little KR documents and we don't expect to fill that gap anytime soon. In order to know what is in a family, or what you can ...

Re: How does it work the CQL query cl (CPC or IPC-18)?

Hi, CL would be used if you have classification symbols and you don't exactly know if they are IPC or CPC-kind. You could simply put them into CL search and the result would be all classes, no matter if they are CPC or IPC. You get publications with one or the other. So, no, you would not get an err...

Re: How does it work the CQL query cl (CPC or IPC-18)?

Hi, I am not sure if I understand your question correctly: We offer many variations for classification searches, for only IPC, only CPC or for both together if you use CL for cases when CPC and IPC have the same combination of characters (like cl=C10J3). Use depends on the needs of specific searches...

Re: missing prior_appln_id

Hi, Not all applications claim priority and not all claimed priorities, especially of older data, are available at the EPO. For purpose of building DOCDB simple and INPADOC extended families in Espacenet we populate priority field for every record in a database with either: - active priority (real p...
