Re: PATSTAT GLOBAL Frontfile vs Single edition

Hi No, what you describe is true only for bulk raw data sets. Patstat is produced twice per year. If you get a subscription to Patstat 2024, you get both editions, and if you choose a single edition, you only get one edition, either the Spring or Autumn edition. Whatever you want is your choice. In ...

Re: Ambiguous response when querying published data for Japan with a wild card kind code

Hi, In fact, that is a feature of OPS and not a mistake in response. The ambiguous seed informs you that your query has to be amended because there are two (or more) documents found that correspond to your number query. You have to choose one of the proposed options in order to display it. Regards V...

Hi

I forwarded your request to the department in charge of checking the data. Once they reply, I will post the answer here.

Re: Strange epodoc-Number for AU-Documents

Hi,

I suspect this is because your number is incomplete; its missing a kind code and the date:

The correct URL is

.../number-service/publication/original/AU2020203843A1.20220106/docdb

Same works for epodoc format.

Re: Robot detect

Hi, 403 happens usually in two cases: if you do not appropriately authenticate, which can also include your token being expired, or if you don't obey OPS throttling as stated in the URL response to every request you make. If it is trolling, then the rejection reason is also given in the URL header o...

Re: Errors in start-page number for several cases

Hi,

Apparently, colleagues have reloaded the mentioned WO's, but they still have to check if the issue is indeed bigger than just what you have found. Thank you again for reporting this back to us and I hope the rest will be fixed soon as well.

Re: Errors in start-page number for several cases

Hi,

Indeed, order is strange. I asked colleagues in charge of image data if they could check, correct, or request new data from WIPO.

Thank you for reporting that to us.

Re: How do we check the particular Patent' renewal schedule

Hi As an applicant, you should be able to see that in your online filing account. But for patents that are not yours, you can see relevant information in the European Patent Register, OPS Register API, and OPS Legal API, as well as in the INPADOC legal events bulk dataset. European Patent Register e...
