Re: Retrieve the date of grant of a European patent

I always use the publication date of the B1 as the grant date. I never checked if there is a formal notice in the legal status.

Re: Application Data Sheet Info

In case you need application data sheets for US documents, you could consider contacting the USPTO via mailto:EBC@uspto.gov

Re: (approximate) truncatedFamily limits

Thanks for the information, One thing is not clear to me, it is the cut-off after 1300 lines of information. Does this refer to the entire xml result or to the legal status information only? If it refers to the entire result, it cannot contain up to 700 publications in the familylist. One entry cont...

Re: EPO begins publishing linked open data

Dear team,

It seems as if the link to the user guide in http://www.epo.org/searching-for-patent ... html#tab-1 is wrong. Clicking the link to the user guide opens a new tab, but does not seem to be able to actually download the .pdf file.

Regards,
Gerben

(approximate) truncatedFamily limits

Dear OPS team, I might have overlooked it, but in the manual I have only found some general indication for truncated families on page 88. In situations when the requested family is very large (several hundred members), all of the members cannot be included in the response due to technical reasons. T...

Re: New OPS terms of use and Fair use charter from 2018 on

Dear OPS support, The current version of the manual (january 2018 version) still reports 2.5G as current max week volume on page 39. According to this announcement (october 2017), this should be 3.5G. It would be nice if the manual would be adjusted to report this, but it will be outdated again with...

Bulk retrieval limit definition / legal data download

Dear OPS team, I have a question regarding the definition of the bulk retrieval limit on page 52 of ops_v3.2_documentation_-_version_1.3.6_en.pdf . It states: Note, the bulk retrieval is limited to 100 references. Do I have to interpret this as I can submit 100 references in the request, or as I hav...

Adding /biblio at the end makes it work.

Thanks for the tip.

Re: php curl oauth, i do not manage to get data out

This makes sense, as I wrote earlier today "It probably is a very simple small mistake we make".
Thanks for pointing this out, I will try this tip later this week.
