Re: Generating INPADOC ID?
Dear Ville, The INPADOC extended patent families made available through the OPS service are being re-calculated every week – by going through the complete collection every time. OPS does not support a family-id for the INPADOC extended family for that very reason – the family-id would be as volatile...

Re: DOCDB sample file
Yes, of course. It also depends on the document and the file you have been looking at; almost as a general rule, we can load abstract and in certain cases also names later as the basic biblio will get loaded. This is why we have Amend files that are publisched on Tuesdays. We wrote an article about i...

Re: How to download XML raw data
Drawings you could take from OPS, using OPS Published services with Image constituent. But Docdb in XML data is only available as a raw data product that you have to subscribe to and pay for. Re: How to download XML raw data
Yes, but just to clarify, OPS is a web service that allows to link data to your database or download small chunks od data into your database. Bulk downloading is not allowed via OPS, for that raw data products are offered as an alternative. Here is a link to our Fair use charter: https://www.epo.org...

Re: Espacenet application and priority numbers to DOCDB form
Hi, This is not mentioned in OPS technical documentation because its not technical feature of OPS. Epodoc and Docdb number formats are basic formats used by the EPO and apply for many other other services and databases as well and that is a reason why this information was not mentioned in the PDF. M...

Re: Espacenet application and priority numbers to DOCDB form
Hi, My first question would be why you want to use Docd number if OPS also allows search in Epodoc format (format that you find in Espacenet)? It is true that it can depends of the database/service you are using; sometimes docdb format can be better than epodoc format, but almost every database allo...
