Re: Access tokens

To get the access token we need to send a POST request with "grant_type=client_credentials" in its body and the "Content-Type" header set to "application/x-www-form-urlencoded". I have tried the following command and it works: curl -H "Authorization: Basic QWYzMjBrUVdkb1VnUmxnNUNrN3NITU5PVFN2cHI0M0Y...

Re: Is a Developement System available or planned?

Dear users, There is no public development system in place. At present, new/on-boarding developers do not represent the biggest problem when the system is overloaded. The biggest contributors to poor performance are the users who massively parallelise their queries and extract very large volumes of ...

Re: Request not leading to CLIENT.AmbiguousRequest anymore

Dear user, Since you are looking up WO number you should not get any ambiguous requests anyway (same goes for EP, where all publication stages keep same publication number and just the kind code will change). Legal services is all about extended patent family (Inpadoc family) and not simple Docdb fa...

Re: Request not leading to SERVER.LimitedServerResources any

Dear user, Again, there is a truncated family situation and the request of legal and biblio on top is just to much for the system. If you only choose one or the other you will get system to respond properly: http://ops.epo.org/3.1/rest-services/family/publication/docdb/US.2003082717/legal About erro...

Re: Some document-ids of Priority Claims lack doc-number

Dear user, As you could see when you get the server reply, this was truncated family and that means that you've only getting first 700 families. Since this is truncated family, system will only give you document numbers and relevant dates, but priority picture will stay incomplete. Kind regards, OPS...

Re: Conversion between Original, DocDb, and EpoDoc numbers

Dear user, There are few concordance tables you should look at: http://www.epo.org/searching/data/data/tables/regular.html We can only provide you with concordance tables for Docdb format. For Epodoc format we have no tables, just explanation in OPS FAQ's: http://www.epo.org/searching/free/ops/faq.h...

Re: Access Limit per User or per Application?

Dear user, There are no specific limits on access tokens available (within reason). Each access token is valid for 20mins which equates to about 150MB of data, if the user respects the 1Mbps fair use policy. The developer should program his software to catch 403 errors and reduce traffic usage accor...
