Hi, The reason why some images are not available with the respective abstract is simply due to the fact that the images have not been clipped from the original document's first page. It's currently not possible to download the first page of a document only. However, to browse through the first pages...

We had a technical problem displaying the INPADOC Patent Families on 22 December and the issue was resolved on 23 December. Espacenet will be moved to a secure environment in the next release which is planned for the end of January next year.

The announcement was made during our annual Patent Information conference in Denmark at the beginning of this month.
