The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) has recently launched online file inspection tool called Patents Open Dossier available via the IPOS patent retrieval system IP2SG. The file inspection is available for published patent applications filed on or after 14 February 2014.

Via the new system, the following document types are made available to the public:

• Notification relating to the request made on Patents Form and Common Forms (with certain exceptions)

Following documentation will not be shared with the public:

To access the online file inspection of an individual patent application:

• From the result list enter the document view of listed patent applications and click on Patents Open Dossier
• Download the desired documents individually or all in one step in merged form
