I receive 400 bad request for a search query after title where I've encoded the SPACES as %20:

why is it not working?

The terms which you wish to search within a specific field identifier should be surrounded by quotation marks as in my example below:

The query is read from left to right.
So, here is the URL as you should use it:
http://ops.epo.org/3.1/rest-services/pu ... 0factored"
