BLOCKCHAIN search strategy for....

The PATSTAT team is aware that many researchers are doing analysis on patent filings related to "BLOCKCHAIN" technology.
At the latest "Search Matters " event https://www.epo.org/learning-events/eve ... tters.html, two collegue examiners presented a search strategy that provides a possible approach to map and extract blockchain related patent applications. Although originally developed to be used with ESPACENET, we thought this will also interest the PATSTAT community now that we have offered an easier method to access full text via the “EP full-text data for text analytics” product (https://www.epo.org/searching-for-paten ... html#tab-1).
