I have a question regarding the definition of the bulk retrieval limit on page 52 of ops_v3.2_documentation_-_version_1.3.6_en.pdf.
It states:
Do I have to interpret this as I can submit 100 references in the request, or as I have to make sure my request does not generate more than 100 results?Note, the bulk retrieval is limited to 100 references.
I intend to write a procedure for downloading a complete inpadoc family with biblio and legal data. It would start with retrieving a family list without any detail (page 83). This family list will be parsed to extract reference numbers which will be used to download biblio and legal details using the bulk retrieval as described in page 50 (and 114 for legal).
- Is it possible to download legal status data in bulk, similar to the biblio bulk retrieval as described in page 50?
- To prevent having to parse two types of numbers for doing the bulk data retrievals (publication number for biblio and application number for legal status) I would like to submit both requests with application/docdb numbers (legal status requests seem to not accept epodoc application numbers as input, see below). However, if I submit 100 application numbers, I will probably retrieve more than 100 publications, will this succeed or will it overrun the bulk retrieval limit?
- It seems as if legal status retrieval does not accept Application numbers in epodoc format as input. If this is the intended behaviour, please mention this in the manual in the legalstatus retrieval section (page 114).
