Conversion between Original, DocDb, and EpoDoc numbers

Post by gabag30 » Tue Sep 03, 2013 1:12 pm

Hello,

We are trying to use OPS to check the coverage of some Latin American offices in espacenet and Latipat against the patent inventory of those offices (this is an activity of the Latipat project).

is there a complete table or a something similar listing the conversions needed to use to transform the original number to DocDb and/or EpoDoc.

There are a couple of forum post that give you a few information on how EPO handles the original numbers (http://forums.epo.org/open-patent-servi ... ic2065.htm), some information about the OPS's number service (http://forums.epo.org/post10448.html?hi ... ice#p10448), and others...

Thanks for your reply.
Regards
Gabriel

Dear user,

There are few concordance tables you should look at: http://www.epo.org/searching/data/data/ ... gular.html

We can only provide you with concordance tables for Docdb format. For Epodoc format we have no tables, just explanation in OPS FAQ's:http://www.epo.org/searching/free/ops/faq.html#faq-75

Kind regards,
