Creation of hyperlink

This space is made available to users of Open Patent Services (OPS) web-service and now also to users of EPO’s bulk data subscription products such as 14. EPO worldwide bibliographic database (DOCDB), 14.11 EPO worldwide legal status database (INPADOC), 14.12 EP full text data, 14.1 EP bibliographic data (EBD)and more.

Users can ask each other questions, exchange experiences and solutions, post ideas. The moderator will use this space to announce changes or other relevant information.

Creation of hyperlink

I have to built a link to EPO Register based on the EP publication number. But as far as I can see (I am not an IT expert) the link can only be built with the application number (https://register.epo.org/application?number=XYZ). Is there a way to built a web link with the publication number? Thank you for your Support.

Hi,

Yes, there is, but you need to use Open Patent Services for Register. OPS is a web service that we offer for exactly such purpose (automated queries to services such as Register and Espacenet).

Please note that the graphical user interfaces of Espacenet, the European Patent Register and Publication Server are exclusively dedicated to human users. They are not intended for bulk data retrieval or automated queries.
