Hi,

When I look at the PATSTAT data completeness overview (Tableau) for India, I notice a drop in applications between +/- 1999 and 2011, followed by a large peak starting in 2012.

Could someone explain me what happened here? I tried to look this up online but couldn't find an answer yet.

Hello Tomas,
the only reason for this is the missing data from the Indian patent office.
We are in permanent negotiations in order to improve the data flows.
