Data in exchange-document is incomplete

Post by KerstinThoma » Fri Jul 02, 2021 9:26 am

Dear OPS-Team,

Today [2021-07-02]: exchange-document is incomplete.
Among other things, the inventor, applicant and title of the patent are missing.

Example:
https://ops.epo.org/3.2/rest-services/f ... blio,legal
2 records are returned: @total-result-count": "2"

The first record (US2020108714A1) contains the relevant data in the bibliographic-data.

The second record (US11040616B2) has no bibliographic-data.

I am aware that the service is currently struggling and we have often received a 500 response in the last few days. A 200-response in which data is then unexpectedly missing is almost more unpleasant.

Thank you for resolving this and best regards,
Kerstin Thoma.

In the meantime, the above record is complete, US11040616B2 has bibliographic-data.

However, the problem (the "bibliographic-data" section is missing from the record) still occurs with other queries, e.g:

CN112983615A (publication date: 2021-06-18; DocDB mentions: 2021-06-29).
https://ops.epo.org/3.2/rest-services/f ... blio,legal

AU2020220175A1 (publication date: 2021-06-24)
https://ops.epo.org/3.2/rest-services/f ... blio,legal

Many thanks for the clarification,
Kerstin Thoma.

Dear Kerstin,

We have experienced that the combination of the constituents biblio and legal are sometimes causing trouble. Please use "biblio" only for the time being, if you are interested in bibliographic data. We also recommend that you use the service "published-data" instead of "family" to retrieve the bibliographic data.

We advise that you use "legal" in a separate query.

The services are currently unstable and we are sorry for that. You need to query again and again to get results.

Kind regards,
OPS support
