Does OPS support compression?

Post by Chris Every » Thu Sep 05, 2013 6:26 pm

I have not found it in the documentation, so I ask here.

In order to reduce the bandwidth used on our side and on your side, we could employ gzip compression. In order to use it as a client I would indicate that I support compression by setting the appropriate header value:

Code: Select all

Accept-Encoding: gzip
Is this supported by the OPS by now?

Dear user,

We don't support compression and at this point we don't have any plans to do so in the future.

Kind regards,

OPS support
