On 23 and 24 April 2015, the EPO is hosting its annual forum on Asian patent information "East meets West" (http://www.epo.org/learning-events/even ... w2015.html).
During the plenary sessions and interactive discussion rounds, you will have the opportunity to engage in depth information exchanges with experts from Asian patent offices. Furthermore we embrace this event as an opportunity to learn about your future needs and discuss with you how we can continually support your business activities in the area of patent information from Asia and prospectively from other parts of the world.
Whether you are searching in Asian databases on a daily basis or you simply wish to be up-to-date with the latest changes in the Asian patent systems, this event could be beneficial for you.

Furthermore, please book your hotel as soon as possible as the availability of hotel rooms is limited due to other conferences co-inciting in Vienna. Dear users,
As the places in the training sessions and round table discussions are getting occupied, we strongly recommend registering for “East meets West” forum as soon as possible.
Unfortunately the training on the new JPO’s platform for patent searching– JPlatPat is already fully booked.
As an alternative for the participants who were not able to register for this course, we offer virtual classroom with the same topic scheduled for 6 May 2015.
