Endpoint to check availability of OPS

Post by Chris Every » Mon Sep 05, 2016 10:58 am

Hi there,

we wonder if something like an endpoint exists to check the availability of the OPS automatically.

Usually these endpoints are named
  • /ping
  • /status
  • /healthcheck
If such an endpoint does not exists, is it probably planned to create one?

Currently we ping the WADL (http://ops.epo.org/3.1/wsdl/ops.wadl) to check if the OPS is available or not. Probably this is the supposed way to do it?
