EP original documents now published with CPC (INID 52)

Post by EPO / OPS Support » Wed Jan 19, 2022 5:57 pm

Dear all,

As of today, all newly published EP original documents (publication date 19 January 2022 and on) have next to IPC classification (INID 51) also CPC symbols (INID 52) printed on the first page.

We published both, CPC symbols and where available also C-sets, as they were assigned at the time of publication.

As its shown in an example above, in case where biblio is more comprehensive and there will be many CPC's or even C-sets there will be cases where biblio information will spill over to page 2.

Any changes to CPC's after publication will still be available via bibliographic data in ST36 and tools/sets that load that data - like DOCDB in a bulk or OPS Published Services with Biblio constituent and etc.

Newly published publications, released to public today, at 14:00 CET
are already available in OPS as well as in European Publication Server and its API and of course also in our 14.12 EP full text data in a bulk - front file delivery of week 02/2022.

In OPS you will find them in OPS Published services with Image constituent (see image)
