Free webinars on Patent Information from Validation states – register now!

Dear all,

This is to inform you that in February, the EPO's Asian Patent Information Services will run a series of webinars on patent information from the EPO’s validation states.

The webinars will start with an explanation of the validation concept at the EPO. Each webinar will then briefly introduce patent system(s) (national, regional) currently available within the jurisdictions of the particular validation state. In the area of patent information, which is the main focus of the webinars, participants will find out about official PI sources made available by the IP authorities of each validation state. Participants will also learn about different document types, kind codes and how to retrieve original documents or legal status data. At the end of each webinar, we will briefly introduce those state(s) where validation agreements are currently under negotiation.
