I try to get an overview over all the patents which have recently been published ("Offenlegung" = earliest publication). We try to get this overview every two weeks to know whats happening on the market.

Unfortunately, the filter option in the search lets me only filter for publication date, not for earliest publication. We need the info about the earliest publication date so we can inform the EPO if another company tries to patent something we already have developed.

Is is possible to use another tool or could you please implement this function?

This can be achieved if you use the publication date filter on family level.

To complete the information provided, I would like to draw your attention that, in the suggested approach, some publications might be missing from your result lists. This can happen if some publications are not entered in the Espacenet database close to their publication date but at a later stage. Espacenet tries to be updated in due time as much as possible but also depends on the data delivery by the different patent offices. Therefore, the suggested approach should be used with caution for monitoring purposes and possibly with broad date ranges.
