The highlighting of the keywords in description or claims is (because of the intensity of the orange background colour) very emphatically present. Quick "diagonal" reading of the texts becomes therefore very difficult if not impossible.
Is it feasible to have an option where the highlighting can be switched on and off?

Unfortunately we currently cannot switch off the highlighting. The only option I see is that you open the document in a new window or tab e.g. by right clicking on the respective publication link in the biblio page: Published as.... We will evaluate your request for future developments.
