Sorry to hear of this decision,
The forum was a useful tool, in case you ran into your in-house code not behaving as expected. Frequently, someone had run into the same or similar issue before and a solution, or an explanation why this was unavoidable because of data (un)availability or its organisation in OPS, was commonly present under the question.
In my opinion the forum was also a time saver for EPO staff. Questions answered by other forum users did not need further attention (and time) of EPO staff, which the suggested alternative, sending messages to the EPO staff via the contact form will always need.
I do not know if "careful consideration" did include the above arguments, if not, please re-consider.
