India: Searching for full text of the Indian applications?

Post by EPO / Asia Info » Tue Jul 28, 2015 2:24 pm

Dear users,

On the beginning of this year the Indian Patent Office has launched a new search facility named “Indian Patent Advanced Search System (InPass)” http://ipindiaservices.gov.in/publicsearch/. Compared to the old IPAIRS search system (“Indian Patent Information Retrieval System”) http://ipindiaonline.gov.in/patentsearc ... index.aspx, the full text searching is now available for published applications as well as for granted patents jointly or separately. In addition to completely new user interface design including a new search mask, PCT publication number was also introduced as new search criteria. For the time being the new InPASS is still running simultaneously with the old IPAIRS database.

Many of you are already testing the new InPASS database and we are very much interested in your comments, testing observations or questions which you might have, so please post them here in the forum or contact us directly at asiainfo@epo.org!
