Inquiry about issues on patent data deletion and omission

Post by zhangqian123 » Mon Mar 18, 2024 4:31 am

Dear Sir,
We want to confirm two things about data deletion and omission with you:
1. It is regarding the deleted patents. We recently noticed that a large amount of data from the docdb source in our database was deleted. More specifically, about 240,000 IT patents were removed approximately in February 2024, and around 56,000 HU patents were deleted approximately in March 2024. We would like to know why this data was deleted and whether these deleted datasets will reappear or perhaps reappear in a different format in the future?
2. It is regarding the missing patent. We found that the docdb source does not have the patent TR2022020334A2. We would like to first confirm the reason for this missing patent, and also we wish to gain some insights into where the docdb source obtains its data as well as the possible causes for missing patent data.

Thanks

Hi,

Every time there is a rekey or other cleanup exercise in DOCDB in XML in bulk, we inform users by sending an automatic notification via the BDDS, explaining what we are planning to do and how users have to treat the data on their end.
In both mentioned cases, we were doing a rekey, and for the details of the IT and HU rekey, I would like to ask you to log into BDDS, go into the DOCDB 2024 frontfile product folder, find the Notifications folder, and download information from there.

Regards,
Vesna for Data services and OPS
