The change of format has been planned in close cooperation with the national office and was required to avoid database conflicts when loading back file data.
The change of publication number affected publications
with kind-code ‘B1’ within number range 1 to 65743
and had an impact on approximately 18.000 publications.
The number format changed from n(nnnnn) to n(nnnnn)YY
Examples:
• from AU 1B1 to AU 104B1 (date of filing: 13-02-1904)
• from AU 65743B1 to AU 6574360B1 (date of filing: 09-10-1960)
