Hello everybody,
I'm testing the OPS service.
It seems that the service accepts as maximum 10 terms for field.
Is there a way to use more than 10 terms?
The error message I get is the following:
<code>CLIENT.ScopeTermsMaximumNumber</code>
<message>
Too many terms within an index scope. There can not be more than 10 terms within 'ti' index scope
</message>
thank you very much
all the best

Re: Maximum number of terms in a query
Dear user,
Here are limitations that apply to CQL search in OPS Publish Services and in Espacenet Smart search:
You can enter up to 20 search terms in total, with a maximum of ten per searchable piece of bibliographic data.
Left truncation is not supported, nor is truncation within a word.
Search terms have to be entered in English to ensure the correct results are retrieved.
Diacritical characters (umlauts and accents) and slashes are not allowed when searching.
Stop words, which are common words such as FOR, WITH, THE, BUT, AND, OF, ANY, etc, are not searchable as they would otherwise produce too many results.
Full texts (claims and description) are not searchable.
For more information on the Smart search function see the following pages in Espacenet Help:
Smart search
Smart search - entering queries
Smart search - field identifiers
Smart search - operators
