Page and links here valid to 29 August 2019 (contact EPO User desk after)

Support for the Gemalto Classic Client will end soon. Get new smart card software below:

Dear user,

We are sending you this advanced version of the new Cryptovision smart card software (SCinterface). PLEASE read the document carefully. Admin rights required.

We have a combined package that does the following:

a) Uninstall the Gemplus smart card reader driver and replace it with the Microsoft Usb smart card reader driver as well as remove the Gemalto Classic Client software

b) Install the Cryptovision smart card software (SCinterface).

Please download all files and installation guides here:
http://webserv.epo.org/download.nsf/0/0 ... enDocument

RUN Cryptovision_SCinterface_EPO_64.exe or the 32 bit version

**** IMPORTANT****

Configuring the EPO Online Filing software

Add the cvP11.dll in red with the; to the PKCS line as below**
in the file OLFfm.conf in the C:\ Program files(X86)\EPO_OLF5\FM\Config\
# list of recognized PKCS11 libraries with parameters
PKCS11LibraryName=PkcsV2GK.dll,0,0;gclib.dll;icpkcsi.dll;id2cbox.dll;settoki.dll;unipk11.dll;UsrPkcs11.dll,64,128,1000,0,1;cvP11.dll

** This is only done on the server PC in a network / server-client installation of OLF

Or you will get
check smart card.jpg
check smart card.jpg (8.42 KiB) Viewed 6279 times

When you try to sign or send in OLF.

(This is temporary; a Patch will be out before the official release on the 26th)

Configuring for use with Mozilla Firefox browser

(See Cryptovision_Mozilla_Setup.docx)

Known issues and what to do:

1. The reader driver replacement does not take place completely.
No valid cards.jpg
No valid cards.jpg (6.91 KiB) Viewed 6279 times
when you load the Cryptovision SC Utility.

Fix: update the reader driver. (See Cryptovision reader update fix.docx)

2. You cannot sign in the Online Filing software (Will be fixed before the official
release date (26.08.2019) with a patch)

Fix: update the file OLFfm.conf as above

MSI Files:

2 install files are needed if the MSI option is to be used .

http://webserv.epo.org/download.nsf/0/C ... enDocument

Installations via msi files

Gemalto_Deinstaller.msi

a) This software uninstalls the Gemplus smart card reader driver and replaces it with the Microsoft Usb smart card reader driver as well as removes the Gemalto Classic Client software

cv_act_scinterface.msi

b) This software installs the Cryptovision smart card software (SCinterface).

A before B

In any case, the Cryptovision software requires the Microsoft Usb smart card reader driver

Support

Dear Sir,

We have an issue after installing said new cryptography software.

When we are using CMS in a long during session.
The password of the smart card is asked several times.
Can this be solved because this is quite annoying for the user of CMS.

It would seem to be a browser related issue. Try the Mozilla Firefox.
Also make the change in the device manager in attached file
