Misleading Register Alert event notification on 15.04.19

Following a clean-up exercise of event information regarding (previously) revoked patents, that were later reinstated, some existing revocation events ("Despatch of communication that patent is revoked") were duplicated on 15.04.2019.

The incorrect indication of older events appearing now as the most recent event could lead to confusion and the EPO has worked as fast as possible to correct the issue. However, additional corrections might still be necessary.

The incorrect information only affects the “Most recent event” indication and “Event history”. The European Patent Register still indicates the correct patent status for these applications.
