please why this query
clas=F24F and APC = NOT CN and PUD [2018-08, 2018-12]
gives 0 results

when this query
clas=F24F and APC = CN and PUD [2018-08, 2018-12]
gives 14561 results?

I wanted to give APC without CN, KR and JP.
How I have to formulate the query criteria with only excluded items?

Good Morning,

Correct queries are:

clas=F24F andnot APC = CN or KR or JP and PUD [2018-08, 2018-12]
or
clas=F24F and not (APC = CN or KR or JP) and PUD [2018-08, 2018-12]

Please note that the use of brackets is mandatory if you use NOT instead of ANDNOT.
