patent number

Post by jmellby » Sat Dec 23, 2017 4:27 pm

I have a document that give the patent number 503 to Joseph Swan W. in 1864 but nothing comes up in my search. Is the number incorrect or is the material too early? thank you

Dear Jmellby,
This is indeed a very old publication and although our database goes back to the 1800s, we cannot guarantee that all full collections are available. In this case we suggest you to contact the relevant National Patent Office to see if they can provide you with a copy.
Link to the Patent offices of member states

Kind regards,
