PCT subventions

Hello,
I am a Spanish university student and I'm going to apply for a PCT patent at EPO.
I wonder if there is some kind of subsidy or economic assistance for individual persons less than 25 years.
In Spain there are state subsidies to help pay different taxes of a national patent.
Thanks.

Hello,
As far as we are aware, for a Spanish student residing in Spain, filing a PCT application with the EPO as Receiving Office there are no reductions available.
However, there is a possible reduction available when entering the European phase under Rule 6 EPC and when requesting examination.
For confirmation and more information we kindly ask you to contact our specialists in legal and procedural matters at
support@epo.org, who will be happy to provide you with more detailed information.

The national patent office (OEPM) has economic support for patent applications: national, European and pct applications .
