The PCT (PCT/RO/101 update July 2020) update to OLF, which was published on the EPO website on
20 August 2020 available for (OLF) V5.12 (build 5.0.12.176), has been called back as it caused technical problems for some customers. It is no longer available on the EPO website.
If you are a customer and have tried to download and install this patch and it was not succesful, leave it at this and continue working in version 5.12.
If you have successfully installed the patch AND it caused problems you will need to reinstall the previously working version (5.12 , unpatched) on the OLF server. You can find this version on the EPO website in the usual place for downloading software: https://www.epo.org/applying/online-ser ... nload.html.
Regarding the content of this intended patch: WIPO publishes quarterly updates to their PCT SAFE software (bug fixes or maintenance changes, new countries etc...) , the last of these updates was in July 2020. The EPO needs to include these changes in its own filing software for the part that interfaces with PCT Safe (for PCT Filings) . On the WIPO website you can find the content information in the Release Notes and in Whats New? https://www.wipo.int/pct-safe/en/downlo ... lient.html
