Pendency data by technical area

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for collating pendency data for applications from various IP offices split into technical area?
I have found some useful data on the USPTO website but nothing as specific anywhere else.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello jmaccormack2605,
can you give us a link to the USPTO useful data on pendency ?
The tls901 table might be a useful taxonomy approach as it is based on IPC classification codes - and as such can be used across patent authorities.

Hello jmaccormack2605 ,
I had a quick glance at the link you send. I assume that by "technical area" you meant the "patent technology centers" data in the scoreboards.
As far as I can see, this is a USPTO scheme not used by other offices. A bit similar to what we used to have at the EPO with the clusters.
The EPO does not publish such data on EP filings.

There are -in my opinion- no viable options to do "first office actions" analysis across patent authorities using PATSTAT data. (with the exeption of the publication data)
EPO-only data is of course available via PATSTAT Register.
