Problem with OPS INPADOC services and Espacenet (Family, legal events)

Dear users,

We are currently experiencing interruptions and at times restricted access in some OPS services due to very high amount of unauthorised automated processes running in Espacenet that have consequently influence on OPS INPADOC services and are therefore also obstructing traffic and access to data for all other OPS users.

Please remember that automated access of any kind or third party software is not allowed on Espacenet. All such queries have to be directed only via OPS and via registered OPS account. OPS is especially designed to cater for exactly that purpose and gives identical data via OPS INPADOC service as Espacenet Classic and New offer via Family and Legal events sections.

Hi,

We made some minor changes in the last months and this did in fact improve situation considerably, according to what users are reporting back to us. But there will be even bigger improvement happening that should completely fix the availabilities on all levels.
Our office is well on the way to fulfil the promise of optimizing IT structure and all related processes in this year and we are absolutely holding on the planed schedule and meeting all set deadlines.

If you do notices issues, contact us directly to patentdata@epo.org. It can be that your issues are related to something else.
