Reminder - epoline smart card replacement

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our epoline® products and services for the benefit of our users,
following a change in smart card supplier in November 2003, we are now able to offer you a new smart card with the following new features and benefits:

• GemSAFE: the cryptographic software tool replacing iD2 Personal used for the old type smart card
• Smartdiag: an extensive built in diagnostic tool to test both reader and card functionality
• easy troubleshooting in case of difficulties thanks to the system information gathering options
• changing and unblocking of the PIN is more user friendly

Existing cards, i.e. those issued before November 2003, will continue to be supported up to and including 31 December 2004, after which they will no longer be valid.

If you have not yet requested a new card, you can still do so by contacting Procedural & Technical Support(support@epo.org)
