Hi,
when retrieving the description of a patent, there are -elements within the text being placeholders for figures, tables, formulas, etc.
E.g.,
As these elements have a unique id, I was wondering if it is possible to retrieve the original data (the figure or table).
Is there a service (or planned service) to do so?
Thank you,
Katharina

Hi,
This is only possibly if you download full text in PDF:
First you do image search:
http://ops.epo.org/3.1/rest-services/pu ... .a1/images
Then you replace part of the URL with the document identifier and choose pages that you need to download:
http://ops.epo.org/3.1/rest-services/pu ... ge?Range=2
Since you wanted to see images included in description you can only download parts of the document that include description(for this document pages from 2 - 4 include description, so you can choose to download only those pages)
Some images can sometimes be a part of drawings as well, you it makes sense to have a look in "thumbnails" too:
ops.epo.org/3.1/rest-services/publishe ... thumbnail
