In Espacenet you can search within date ranges in the publication number field.
The following formats are admissible for date range searches in the Advanced search mask]:
2005:2007
2005,2007
"2005 2007"
The following formats are admissible for date range searches in the Smart search mask:
2005:2007
pd="2005 2007"
pd="2005,2007"
pd="2005:2007"
pd >=2005 AND pd <=2007 will retrieve documents published between 2005 and 2007.
