Hello everybody,
I'm currently writing my master thesis, which compares the IP protection of startups to those of established companies. In order to do so, I've created a database of startups and established companies of whom I want to look up whether they have patents or not.
Unfortunately, I haven't found an adequate solution to look them up sequentially without searching for all of them by inserting the name one-by-one. Is there any solution for this case?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Search Espacenet for a large set of firms
Hi dsievert!
First of all, our sincerest apologies for not answering you post early but it was somehow hidden in a wrong section
In Espacenet you have the possibility to search for up to 10 applicant names using the OR operator between names in the Applicant field.
You might like to have a look at either Global Patent Index or PATSTAT online, both of these products offer many more search possibilities and there is a two-month free trial for each of them.
You can find them here, Global Patent Index and PATSTAT.
Good luck with your thesis!
