Server returned HTTP response code: 502

Post by MerinP » Wed Nov 20, 2019 9:32 am

Hi,

I have a cron job running overnight that calls OPS from my application. Unfortunately today (20th November,2019) midnight (actual timestamp : 2019-11-20 00:11:03) it HAS returned an exception for the below url :
[http://ops.epo.org/3.2/rest-services/re ... ural-steps]

Please find below the error logs.

Caught exception; inside com.bcs.p3s.util.scrape.OPSReader : readEPO(EP18158992) : java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://ops.epo.org/3.2/rest-services/re ... ural-steps

sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getChainedException(HttpURLConnection.java:1944)
/p3slogs/CronExhaust:Caused by: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://ops.epo.org/3.2/rest-services/re ... ural-steps

Could you please tell me the reason for this error? Is it because of any maintainence happening at OPS?

Hi,

Unfortunately, you posting does not tell me much. I need to know your ID (I suggest you use email exchange instead of forum ), I need to know a time zone you are referring to in your logs and I need to know exact number/query that you were doing at the time, as well how long did you have that issue (or if you still).

Please send me all that in an email to patentdata(at)epo.org

Regards,
Vesna for OPS support
