Still Problems with Landscaped Pages

Post by Omega » Thu Jan 29, 2009 8:46 am

With new Amyuni and latest Epoline we are still having Problems with PDFs containing a mix of Portrait and landscaped Pages. Epoline rejects those Pages with an Annex F Warning regarding the Page Size.
Those PDFs are created from Word.
When we reprint the PDFs again through amyuni into a new PDF the Pages are rotated, so that all Pages are in portrait-mode. This works in most cases.

When rotating the pages in adobe acrobat, epoline does not accept the pages (I can't remember the error-message).

Could you please fix this in Epoline and do not rely on the pdf converter ?

The problem with mixed landscape and portrait PDF's is solved in V5 (build 5.020) available since 25-01-2010. An excerpt from the release notes:

"Problems when attaching PDF documents have been fixed: PDF files containing pages in portrait and landscape format or pages that do not exactly match A4 format can now be attached to applications without any error messages. Attaching certified US priority documents is no longer a problem either."

To bring the product up to date now one has to download and install the latest version (Full package for installation of Online Filing version 5 (Build 5.0.0.034) ). Furthermore the subsequent update(s) have to be applied (PCT update (new fees) 1 January 2011 at present).

All downloads are on the http://www.epoline.org website, Download centre, Software, Online Filing
