The Federated Register view displays official bibliographic and legal status data relating to European patents in the national post-grant phase of the designated states concerned. It’s important to know that this information is hosted in the national patent registers, not in the European Patent Register. The Federated Register retrieves this legal status information and displays it in the European Patent Register. The accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of these national legal status data are the responsibility of the participating national offices.

At present, the countries participating in the Federated Register project are: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.

More national offices will participate as the corresponding technical infrastructures are developed and implemented.
