Switching window between version 3.1 and 3.2

Post by kullboys » Mon Oct 22, 2018 8:02 am

Hello everyone
As far as I understand, presently we are in a transition period between OPS 3.1 and 3.2:.ù

These versions are all available to allow the EPO and its customers to check more accurately the new version 3.2 without affecting services which use the version 3.1.

I ask you if you can provide a tentative date by which you plan to discontinue the version 3.1, for properly handling this final transition.

Thanks.

Hi,
We are actually not in a transition phase since the beginning of this year (please see Announcements section). Just because the old version is still working that does not mean users should still be using it. We are only keeping it open because we still have certain internal processes running on it, but those are not the same services as external OPS users are using. As we announced in OPS forum months ago, users are supposed to fully migrate to 3.2 (the date was February 2018) after that date we reserve a right to switch off old version at any given time. Please note that the old version is no longer updated since the beginning of this year and does not cover the same features as the production version does so it should be in your interest to be migrated to 3.2 as soon as you possibly can.

Regards,
Vesna for OPS support
