Timeframe for validating OPS account

This space is made available to users of Open Patent Services (OPS) web-service and now also to users of EPO’s bulk data subscription products such as 14. EPO worldwide bibliographic database (DOCDB), 14.11 EPO worldwide legal status database (INPADOC), 14.12 EP full text data, 14.1 EP bibliographic data (EBD)and more.

Users can ask each other questions, exchange experiences and solutions, post ideas. The moderator will use this space to announce changes or other relevant information.

Timeframe for validating OPS account

Hi,
how long it usually takes to validate and setup non-pay ops user account, I applied last week and still no response.

Dear user,

If I am correct assuming that you use same user name here as you did for OPS then I can tell you that your account was activated 6 days and 4 hours ago and I can assure you that you did get automated email message right after we activated it. If you just by chance really did not get the email, you would noticed that you are activated if you would try to login at least once in last 6 days which according to the log you did not do. The other possibility is that you did not use proper email address in your registration - that you can check once you log in to see your account details.

Hi,
the only email I received is the email that reads:

"Your registration details are now being validated by the European Patent Office (EPO)"

but I have access and I can create apps.

You were suppose to get another email, which system send automatically after we activate your gateway and portal, so I am not really sure what happened in you case. Could be that our email ended up in your Junk inbox? In any case, it seem that now you are able to proceed.
