Unable to retreive description for patents

This space is made available to users of Open Patent Services (OPS) web-service and now also to users of EPO’s bulk data subscription products such as 14. EPO worldwide bibliographic database (DOCDB), 14.11 EPO worldwide legal status database (INPADOC), 14.12 EP full text data, 14.1 EP bibliographic data (EBD)and more.

Users can ask each other questions, exchange experiences and solutions, post ideas. The moderator will use this space to announce changes or other relevant information.

Unable to retreive description for patents

Dear all,

I have been experimenting a lot with the epo_ops python api and the api in the developer area to fetch the description text of several patents with no success. There is no equivalent WO numbers for these patents and all applications and publications results in 404's.

Various experiements have involved different formats, types and doc-numbers. I have no idea how to proceed!

How can I get the description from this example patent?

Under Announcements in the Forum you have the list of available text collections, as you see CN is not on the list and is not expected to be part of OPS collection any time soon: june-2020-update-ops-extends-data-cover ... t-xml-7833
