We would like to draw your attention to a change affecting the handling of bibliographic data in Open Patent Services (OPS).

This change will follow the roll-out of the Cooperative Patent Classification International project (CPCI database) planned for 24 August 2019.

If you use OPS to access worldwide bibliographic data, please refer to the file CPC International documentation and sample package (zip file 3,8 MB) for further details, sample files and documentation.

UPDATE (22.8.2019): the transition to CPC-I may take several hours to conclude on Saturday. In practice that should mean that OPS users and other Espacenet users may find the systems unstable for some time during the early morning
