Visualise different concepts using different colours in GPI

Using the above sample query (WORD = -T (ferment* /3w (dair* or milk* or milch* or lait*)) and -Y (lactobacill* or lactococc* or lactic +3w acid* +3w bacter* or bacter* +3w lactiq* or milchsäurebakter*) and CPC = -T (A23C9) and -Y (C12N1)), your result list documents will include, for example, “fermented milk” and “Lactobacillus” in their title, abstract, description and/or claims.

Example of highlighting of search hits in the bibliographic data:

For the description and claims of a given document, red markings are used in the navigation bar to represent search hits of different colours that are overlapping, i.e. terms that are close to each other in the text, for example in the same paragraph or sentence, or on the same line as in this example:

The number displayed between the previous/next hit buttons is the total number of search hits in the description or claims, whatever the number of different colours used in your query:

Note:
  1. Turquoise being the default highlight colour, the colour operator -T used in the above query could be deleted.
  2. Colour operators must be combined with brackets in queries. For example, word = -Y lactobacill* is not a valid syntax contrary to word = -Y (lactobacill*).
  3. The highlight colour used in result lists is yellow and is not modify able.
See details on colour operators in the GPI user manual.
