The link with https:// works fine.
The short URL "www.epo.org/what-has-changed" is fine if you type it in your browser, but does not work from the forum entry.

Re: What has changed in new Espacenet
There appears to be a not reported change as well.
In classic espacenet, it was possible to create a hyperlink to a document using the publication number only
https://worldwide.espacenet.com/publica ... ale=en_EP#. In the new espacenet it appears that you need to know the internal family number as well https://worldwide.espacenet.com/patent/ ... =EP1419886.
Does the new interface have a predictable hyperlink that is based on publication numbers only.
We simply write publication numbers in our reports and have scripts convert the publication numbers into hyperlinks to espacenet for our readers.
In the optimal situation, these links to the old espacenet will be redirected to the corresponding document page in the new espacenet by the time the old espacenet will be discontinued. Alternatively have a second url to the new espacenet that is publication number based only, like the current alternative http://worldwide.espacenet.com/textdoc?IDX=EP1419886.
This last solution would still require to update the current script, and another script to scan our entire backfile and update the hyperlinks, but anything is better than having to create and adjust the hyperlinks manually.
Does the new Espacenet have such a simple publication number based deeplink to the document page. If not, will it be added or will the old deeplinks be redirected to the document page in the new environment?
regards,
Gerben

Re: What has changed in new Espacenet
Dear user,
As you mentioned already in your post the URL returned by new Espacenet comprises the family number. Please be informed that the syntax according to the following example - without the family number - will be rerouted automatically to the right document: https://worldwide.espacenet.com/patent/search?q=pn%3DEP1419886
Hopefully this will make it easy for you to create or update your scripts.
