We are having trouble converting PCT application numbers from original format using Number Services.
Example: WO2013038029 (publication number)
The Biblio from OPS gives us the following Application Number in original format: ES2011/070637
Searching for this application number in Espacenet works, but I have no luck using it in Number Services. I've tried with variations such as PCT/ES2011/070637, using only 2011/070637 with ES as the country code, the same without the slashes, etc.
Unfortunately I can't post the OPS URL's I've been trying, as my post is being rejected as spam! Will try to post them in a comment.
Any ideas? Am I missing something? Any way to transform the number so it works?

Re: WO application number format problem in OPS Number Servi
Here's the Biblio:
ops.epo.org/rest-services/published-data/publication/docdb/wo2013038029/biblio
Here are some variations I have tried, none of them works:
ops.epo.org/rest-services/number-service/application/original/WO.(PCT/ES2011/070637).20110912/epodoc
ops.epo.org/rest-services/number-service/application/original/WO.(ES2011/070637).20110912/epodoc
ops.epo.org/rest-services/number-service/application/original/ES.(2011/070637).20110912/epodoc
ops.epo.org/rest-services/published-data/publication/docdb/wo2013038029/biblio
Here are some variations I have tried, none of them works:
ops.epo.org/rest-services/number-service/application/original/WO.(PCT/ES2011/070637).20110912/epodoc
ops.epo.org/rest-services/number-service/application/original/WO.(ES2011/070637).20110912/epodoc
ops.epo.org/rest-services/number-service/application/original/ES.(2011/070637).20110912/epodoc

Re: WO application number format problem in OPS Number Servi
Dear user,
Your search query should look like this if you're using Epodoc format:
http://ops.epo.org/rest-services/publis ... 637/biblio
If you want to use Docdb format you should formulate it like this:
http://ops.epo.org/rest-services/publis ... 7.W/biblio
The easiest in your case would be to search first for WO2013038029 publication and then see how OPS presents application formats (see attached picture).
http://ops.epo.org/3.0/rest-services/pu ... 637/biblio
Searching with original format is not possible in OPS.
Number service is not yet very reliable, at least not for all countries, so I would not recommend using it yet.
Kind regards,
OPS support
